Back in Ibiza my long-time friend Erick Morillo enjoyed yet another awesome summer as master of house music. Subliminal atPacha is without doubt one of the best club nights in Ibiza; always packed, always buzzing, and always playing the best tunes. That’s why I was there every Wednesday, hanging out and having fun with beautiful people in a celebrity packed VIP.
I also have to mention the Swedish House Mafia pool parties which were some of the best parties in Ibiza for many years.  We were thrilled to collaborate with Ushuaia’s VIP; the guests were stunning, the sun was shining on everyone’s designer sunglasses, the music was pumping, with hot girls in bikinis and high heels by the pool and A-list celebrities in the house. What more could you ask for? Well, fireworks and the amazing atmosphere completed these parties for me.

But even better than the Swedish House Mafia pool parties, and believe me they were hard to beat, was Puffy’s villa party; one of the most talked about parties of 2012. We rented a spectacular villa and arranged the most incredible party attended by the crème de la crème of DJs - Davide Squillace, Iban Mendoza, Nervo twins, Seth Troxler, Behrouz and Ronny Seikaly. The atmosphere was electric, with all Diddy’s friends enjoying the fun; Naomi Campbell, Bono and the founder of Beat headphones Jimmy Lovine; plus our friends James Blunt , Paris Hilton and Fonsi Nieto were all rocking the party. Puffy is such a great guy; so generous and such good company. And boy does he know how to party!

The party started at sunset and finished with the sunrise.
A major highlight of 2012 was the beach polo. I’m so thrilled this sport has gone from strength to strength in Ibiza. The 3rd BeachPolo Cup Ibiza was won by La Dolfina, led by the legendary Argentinian Polo player Adolfo Cambiaso in the final against CirocVodka, led by Andrea Vianini. In the women’s competition the Air Europa team gained recognition with the Airports 2000 award.The polo is always well attended by celebrities and this year was no exception. Besides top model Jodie Kidd who played for Evianand American polo star Nic Roldan who played for Atzaro Hotel, we put together a show-stopping A List guest list; James Bluntwho presented the Air Europa trophy, former star of the Miami Heats and DJ Rony Seikaly, Gigi Sarasola, Duchess Silvia Serra di Casano, car racer Mathias Lauda, the distinguished public relations Carlos Martotorell, and Spanish top model Cristina Tossio. Everyone enjoyed the day including 4Polo management Gabriel Iglesias and Eva Marquez.

It’s hard to choose my favourite moments of 2012 because there were so many! I loved hanging out with Paris Hilton at Cipriani’sand Ushuaia, but one of my best moments was partying with Paris, Puffy and my long-time partner in crime Stephen Dorff at the Kave. What a night! I will also be going back to DC10 this year because the underground vibes and crazy atmosphere were a must in 2012; a nice contrast to the sophisticated and glamorous side of the island.

I also shared some good times with my great friend Steve Angello; it’s always my pleasure to assist him with whatever he needs in Ibiza. I was also lucky enough to meet the incredible artist Mr Brainwash, thanks to Custo who introduced me to. I took him toSHM and we hung out backstage with Steve. Watch this space for the exhibition I will be organising for Mr Brainwash in 2013!

Well, as we know, Ibiza has it all, and 2012 was simply the best yet. I look forward to welcoming all my dear friends and clients back to my favourite island in 2013. It’s set to be another sizzling year so let’s enjoy it!
